Hi, I’m Anas! I’m a data-driven analyst passionate about transforming manual workflows into streamlined automated workflows. I specialize in turning complex data into actionable insights that help organizations make better decisions.

Here's a little about what I've been doing in the past decade:

Completed my Association of Chartered Accountants (ACCA) studies in Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM)
Started my career in Ernst & Young (EY) PLT with a main focus on Downstream Oil & Gas portfolio audits for about 5 years.
Currently I'm working at AFFIN Group, focused on Quality Audit Review of the Group Internal Audit department.

A quick look into someone with a work history like that, you must be thinking he's a financial accountant or auditor. But in actuality, I work with a lot of big data and providing assurance for internal controls (mainly because I used to review for Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance).

My work consisted of ensuring internal controls were adhering to regulatory requirements. But I soon realized while doing that, I could provide value and suggest ways to make the controls more efficient.

Whether it’s working on Power BI, SQL, Excel, or "no-code "tools, I’m always exploring how to make data work smarter, not harder.
